Annual 2015 Meeting

Please join us for our annual 2015 meeting. It will be held on July 11th, 2015 here at Salem Chapel Fire Department.
This year has been a very big year for this organization and we would like to share it with the ones who truly matter the most and that is you the community! We will update you shortly with the times and agenda within the next few weeks.

Whats going on in 2015 so far…

2015 has started out to be a busy year for the volunteers at Salem Chapel Fire Department. We are currently on our 64th call to date and maintaining training every Monday night. But with a new year comes new task, training, members, obstacles, and sometimes new equipment for our organization to face. We have reached the goal of ISO 5 and now it is time for us to maintain it.

This year are trying to get on track with replacing equipment that is outdated or just needing to be replaced while also adding some new equipment as well. We have replaced all our old 2002 Scott Air-Pak with (18) new Scott Air-Pak 75 2013 / AV 3000 HT mask with additional 36 4.5 air bottles. We also replaced our old generator on Rescue 624 with a more powerful generator that met the demands on fire scenes. Another new equipment is a weed-eater that was purchased to maintain our water points semi-annual, the water points have to be kept clear and accessible at all times. We are planing to add new rescue equipment to the trucks and other things as the year goes on! We try our best to keep the community up-to-date and inform you exactly what we are trying to accomplish in keeping up-to-date and our community safe. Please be safe this spring and if you have any question or concerns you can call or write a email under the contact tab.

Thank you!

The Annual BBQ went great this year! We couldn’t have done it without the support from our community and others! We hope to see you next year!
